The Mountain View Family Youth Center will be open after school from 3
p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Cost is $2 per day and includes different activities such as basketball,
skating, volleyball, board games, and more for each day of the week. For

visiting Eminence the 4th of each month in the Eminence

and information and referrals. Independent In-Home services include
basic personal care, nurse visits, advanced personal care, respite, and

3:00 pm. Donations are welcome during the day of the auction. Bring your

7 p.m. with a Halloween Parade at 7 p.m. All cars from the Car Show
are welcome. Line-up is at 6 p.m. at the baseball field.
A peaceful Rally is being
held in West Plains Saturday afternoon on October 25th from 3
p.m. to 8 p.m. with the program starting at 4 p.m. People from around
the Ozarks that are concerned about the 850 billion dollar bailout
package will be on hand to hear from area political candidates about the
bailout. All candidates and office holders are invited as well as the

The Mountain
View-Birch Tree school district will be hosting open forums during the
month of October to provide information about the conditions in the
schools and the reasons the district is proposing to build a new
middle school. The first open forum will be held at October 14th
at the Birch Tree Elementary, followed by one October 21 at Mountain
View Elementary, and the third October 28 at Liberty High School. All
will start at 6 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Each meeting
will include a tour, during which school administrators will point out
